The annual consumer inflation rate in india eased to 4.67% in may of 2024 from 4.83% in the previous month, below expectations that the rate would rise to 4.9%, to mark the slowest increase in consumer prices in one year. Annual inflation rate in india increased to 3.65% in august 2024 from an upwardly revised 3.6% in july, which was the lowest since august 2019, and above forecasts of 3.55%.
